Friends of today.

Friends of today are no longer the way,
they used to be yesterday.

they will laugh together
but not find the other to cry
they may succeed together
but not help other to try

they will show as if
their friendship is high
but pull each other down
to reach the sky

they show they are bonded,
but when testing time comes ,
and they show their thumbs,
then where on earth does dat bond lie?

they say they will walk together
all along the way
but when the road turns
they turn to say good bye!

friends of today are no longer the way

but go out each day with open heart
and make friends everyday
because if you are lucky like i was
you may find a true friend just like yesterday!!

because true friends are like light rays
they will always be like light house on the shore
they may have entered your life from different ways
but push you ahead when you give up and say "no more"!
